The Sisters and Brothers Community Choir

The Sisters and Brothers Community Choir is an inclusive, fun choir whose members share a love of uplifting gospels, cheeky blues and soulful classics such as Hit The Road Jack, People Get Ready, Jesus On The Mainline.

We sing in a safe and supportive environment, and invite others of all abilities including beginners, who love to sing in a group situation.

When are the sessions?

The sessions are held every Tuesday evening during the school terms at the Yarralumla Uniting Church from 7.20pm till 9pm.  At the moment sessions are online until restrictions are over.


$20 per session ($15 concession) or $140 per term ($130 concession).

The sessions include:

  • A free tryout session
  • Tips on technique, warm ups, rounds.
  • All arrangements/lyrics, practice audios

Your choir leader, Juanita Cucinotta is a qualified teacher, music coach, professional musician, arranger and song writer who has a deep passion for her work in bringing music into the lives of all.

Juanita teaches with a generosity and warmth that makes you feel at ease with your voice whilst giving some tips and guidance to help develop it further.

Juanita believes that anyone can learn to sing, at any age. All you need is your desire!
